They presumably do to the cognoscenti, 'davidwf15', but obviously not to the average lay person such as you or I.

I did various contracts for a number of motor manufacturers over the years when I was working, and found that one quite quickly becomes familiar with their in-house jargon and verbal short-hand, but I have never seen anything quite like this! If it is important to you, I would suggest that you contact Volvo and ask them if they can provide you with a key.

It's not just new cars though, I remember a time when cars were advertised as having RSB, RWW, HLWW, ABS, PAS, CC ('C' for 'cruise' or 'climate' - take your pick!), etc., when such things were a novelty and seldom found on run-of-the-mill cars. Much of that went over my head even then! :confused_smile:
