360 cambelt

Does anyone know where to get a genuine or decent aftermarket (Gates) cambelt for a 1983 360 GLT with B19E engine?

It does as before that they were 363/365 but the belt is the same on all 300's with the Volvo 2ltr

All red block block engines use one of 2 belts, square tooth or round tooth.

Just go to your volvo dealer , you will be sure to get the correct one and be very pleased with the cost if you think you can't afford it ...

I was about to write the same.
I ordered one about a year ago and was pleasantly surprised.
Don't forget to replace the rollers/tensioner at the same time.

you don't need to replace the rollers/tensioners , they were superb quality back then ..They were never replaced by volvo dealers .. if you change them now for non volvo you would be fitting inferior ones ...

Clan is quite correct, if the tensioner is not making any noise, I wouldn't bother either, the originals were great quality and I don't think I've ever needed to replace one on any 360.

The only time a tensioner needs replacing is on the volvos from 1999 onwards .. and they only started giving trouble on the odd car after 2007 ...
It must be a coincidence that Ford took over in 1999 🤔
