I sped on ahead but he got in front at the lights by Mercedes though by choosing the inside lane which is when I became aware he was an 'R', then I caught him up but he shortly roared off up the ramp towards Oxford Road making a glorious sound! I gave him a beep and a wave goodbye but his eyes were fixed on the road. Guy with dark hair and glasses
I also saw FOUR early phase 1 or 2 V70s on my travels today!

Haha, Laney that was me. Just seen this. Bought the car off JordySPort and it needed a LOT of work done to it, the rear ARB was about 15cm long and most of the engine mounts were dead, as well as the top torque arm bolt being snapped. I ended up using the engine out of my 850 T5. I had Shem Green do a lot of mods to it. I got it as a high miler stock 850R Auto, it finished ownership with me as modified Manual 850R. Shem put an original Manual box with the Viscous coupling in it. It had 3" downpipe with sports cat, custom exhaust system with the original Volvo DTM optional tips welded to the end. IPD Anti roll bars, Eibach Springs on Bilstein Shocks, I had a modified ME7 Airbox fitted with a 3" MAF and a custom 3" intake pipe mated to a Bigger turbo (can't remember which one). Shem did an Me7 ECU upgrade on it, with VXR injectors and a walbro fuel pump we were able to really get some power out of it. The lights were standard, just with brighter BOSCH bulbs in them and the side lights may have had LED bulbs in but I eventually took these back to stock.
I've just checked MOT history and it doesn't look like the MOT has been renewed boooo. I sold it last year, it had a little tap coming either from the valves or from the rods when I sold it, but there was a newer T5 block waiting with Shem to be put in.
The car was a BEAST, with the ECU upgrade and all the other mods, not much could keep up with it. Brakes were upgraded to the bigger 302 units and new callipers all round. I'm hoping this car isn't being broken and is just off the road at the mo.
I would have been coming back from Basingstoke as I was working at The AA most of that summer lol
