Gearbox problem
 

Hi Everyone

I have a V70R, 2WD 1998. The gearbox has developed a 'graunch' changing up into 5th, presumably a synchromesh issue. Not only are there are no individual parts available for this 'box, Volvo don't supply a complete replacement any more. It's a type M59, original part number 1208917, exchange part number 36050257.
I seem to have hit a wall on this- even if I have the gearbox stripped down for a rebuild, I can't find the necessary bits. Any help / suggestions very gratefully received!
