Volvo still upto their old tricks!
 
Was reading that the new V40 will have a pedestrian safety airbag....welldone Volvo once again first for safty!

So long as it doesn't go off at the slightest* bump and require thousands to repair. I believe I've read some comments on Pistonheads about Nissan GT-Rs which have a pyrotechnic device to lift the bonnet in a pedestrian impact. Loads of stuff and cost to replace.

Very good point. Anyway Volvo is again the first to add another new safety feature.
