advice for a 440 si

hi im new to this forum and new to volvos .i recently bought a 1996 volvo 440 si with 46000 genuine miles, its a really nice car. it does however have a small problem, what im after is some advice on theese cars like is there any common faults on them. mine seems to have a problem with the acceleration. any help would be great, thanks

welcome mate good to see another 440 driver, yeah ther are alot of low mileage 440s lol

Common faults would be the temp gauge and fuel gauge, very lumpy idle and rusty arches (like mine lol)

What is wrong with the acceleration mate? more info would be good

yeah sorry was a bit vague wasnt it. im going to try and explain hopefully, when you drive it it seems to be a little sluggish also when you sit at say traffic lights and then go to pull away it seems to jerk a little, when driving at say 80 on the motorway it drives ok. ive changed the plugs leads rotor arm and dizzy. been told it could be the coil pack but they are not 100 % sure any help would be great as it is a very clean ca rand fun to drive
