Replacing fuel pump

before I buy a new pump can someone advise on what pressure etc I need for a k jet engine?

You need a 6 bar pump. Most fuel injection pumps dont run a high enough pressure

I would use the proper BOSCH pump like you have on there , Is your walbro one capable of it's rated flow at 75 psi ? ( most other electronic injection systems are about half that pressure ..

Running standard lift pump and under car pump at the moment. It’s making a really bad noise. I’ve been told that the walbro 225 pump works and you can then remove the under car main pump. Plus I plan on going down the 940 turbo engine route later in the year.

I have tried a number of EFI pumps on K jet cars and you get issues with not starting, cutting out and power loss with most pumps. You need a pump that is designed to constantly run at high pressure

What pump would recommend?

Is your car K-Jet?

I've ran Walbros on LH cars with no issues. Admittedly never ran one on a K-Jet car.

If you want to go non standard you need the specifications of your pump to match the job , I don't know what the litres per minute is but it needs to be able to deliver that at 100 psi as the working pressure is 75 psi , which is double that of the later Bosch electronic injection systems .
It might help to know what your problem is … and either change the tank pump or the main pump under the floor for the correct one ..
