2001 V40 1.8 S *Spares or Repair*
 

Hi all,

Sadly it's time for my V40 to go; she's been a good workhorse for the last several years, but unfortunately she now needs work doing which I no longer have the time or money to sort. So I'm offering her for spares or repair.

2001 '51 Volvo V40 1.8 S in Metallic Silver, 118K with Service Stamps up to 90K. Multi-spoke Alloys, Part-Leather Interior. MOT'd until July '18.

The Bad Bits: She's overdue a service and cambelt change, plus the timing pulley is rattling and needs replacing. The front brake discs also need replacing and the tracking needs adjusting.

She has a few cosmetic blemishes, most notably the front splitter clip is broken on the off side, causing the splitter to hang loose. There's a nasty mark on the bonnet where some lovely person stuck chewing gum to the bonnet a few year back and has removed the lacquer. The Roof rail end caps also need gluing back on.

All in all, she's a bit rough around the edges but is a good solid workhorse whose never let me down. With a bit of TLC she could be a good runner again, or used as a donor vehicle.

I also have a genuine Volvo Luggage/Cargo Net (complete with roof points) and Haynes Manual which I'll throw in as well. Has 2 Keys, 1 (very battered) fob). A4 Envelope full of receipts.

I'm asking for £200 or nearest offer. It seems a shame to scrap her, but if there's no interest in taking her as is then I will offer individual parts.
