NEW BOXED V70/XC70 Power lock 2007/8 onwards
 

Hi all. I have a brand new V70/XC70 power lock assembly for a 2007/8 P3.

It’s un-used. I bought it to replace mine and then discovered it wasn’t the lock at fault, so I reinstalled the old lock!

Part number is 31276958 Volvo Genuine power Lock V70 Xc70. 2007/8 to 2010 ish.

I’d like 220£ UKP plus postage, or collection is welcome near Bristol UK or Cardiff UK

Happy New Year,

Can I ask, what was wrong with the door?
I just bought a 2012 v70 and passenger door does not open from in/out nor with remote. Cannot hear the lock and cannot open the door to see it, so wondering how to approach this...

This is a tailgate/boot/hatch lock, not a door lock. I should have mentioned that, sorry!

My issue was the wiring in the rear headlining in the end, and not the lock at fault at all!

I know though that the door locks ARE addressable via VIDA/DICE so if you have your car scanned with this diagnostic software it will give you more detail.

I’d start with a scan but it’s a nightmare for all cars when a door won’t open from outside or in... your options are quite limited!

Do you still have power to the door? Does the electric window work on that side? If it does, I’d roll the window down and then use the tube on WD40 to blast the inside lock mech if possible?!

Boot hatch works, fingers crossed!
Passenger door do not have power to lock or window but the speaker works...
Had it scanned today with a SnapOn reader, indicated mech failure of all locks! hope to scan with vida Monday and hear the SnapOn got it wrong :-)
