XC60 my20
There was some speculation a while back regarding the mid-life updates to the XC90 and whether these would trickle down to the XC60. I haven't seen a definitive answer in the orignal threads but after popping into the local dealer this afternoon can confirm that for MY20 the XC60 gets:
Hope that is helpful/interesting and doesn't repeat information I may have missed elsewhere. |
Are the ‘B’ engines only for XC90 then?

Good catch RoosterB… no the Momentum gets the B4 and the R-Design/Inscription get the choice of B4 and B5.

MtillingVolvo posted this file on another thread for the XC90;
Attachment 119096 Which shows the MY20 XC90 changes. Be handy if someone had the XC60 version, quite interested in the Polestar Engineered version! Maybe that's how they get to the 420hp they list for the T8 when all the others just say 303+87=390hp. Even with Polestar software that's not coming in above 405 I guess in some markets where the T8/T6 engine isn't restricted due to emissions it still hits 320hp, so I guess that + Polestar to 334 + the electric 87 gives you 421 so maybe that's where they're getting the magic figure from, don't know. |

I've only got a hard copy but I'm sure the XC60 MY20 list will be up on the UK site soon. The preliminary figures for the P* are 318+87... so still not 420.

As on the T8 in MY19 XC60/90 its; 303hp original on UK cars (320hp on some countries with lower emissions stuff) 14hp from Polestar software upgrade + 87hp from electric motor which seems to have stayed the same. So are you saying it will have 1hp more than we have currently? Lol! Also thanks for the global configurator link. So far it just looks like they've added a new wheel design and painted the brakes and seatbelts yellow + bundled the Polestar software upgrade as standard which would be slightly disappointing, really hoping there's more to it than that!! The 670nm of torque looks interesting! Just noticed that The standard T8 max torque is 400nm from the engine and 240nm from the electric motor I think + 22nm from the Polestar upgrade which would put it behind that figure a bit. Interesting! |
