XC70 Drivers Door Seal Wanted
 

Hi,

The drivers door seal on our '05' XC70 is worn away near the lock area.

Does anyone know where I can get one from and how much please?

You may find that a used seal will be in much the same state as the current one.

I assume you are talking about the seal that fits on the car body and not the door its self.

look for one for the passenger side door they tend to be in better condition at your local breakers or on ebay. cost around £20
It will fit the drivers door opening it just takes a bit of time to get as many of the bends matching up to the opening so you only have one bend to straighten out.
best to do it while the seal is nice and warm.

You can turn the seal clockwise and hide the worn part under the trim.
I'm going to do that to mine when I get chance.
