2016 XC60 geartronic hesitation

My XC60 Geartronic seems a bit hesitant to change up at low revs and almost seems to stutter as if it's thinking weather to change up or not?
It's a 220 bhp D5 engine if that helps and is basically a 2017 car with keyless entry etc.
It is a low mileage car, 20K and is still under warranty so it will be going back to the dealer but is a 2 hour drive from me so I'd be interested if anyone has the same symptoms before I take it there.
Maybe an update required ??

Is it when the engine is cold? (And freezing temperatures) or just all the time?

There's a significant difference between cold engine/transmission and up to Temp operation in my car...

It seems to be mainly from cold.
When it is really cold it does hang in gear before changing, but that's probably just due to the oil temp.

Similar symptoms on my 2017 220bhp XC60 cured by a gearbox software reset/update by the dealer

What he says, get your transmission software updates done before you start looking down any other avenues. I’ve got a D4 AWD V60 Cross Country with the 6 speed autobox. I’ve had a few updates done now and the improvements are very noticeable
