How to remove the gear box oil plug?

Hi,
How do I remove the gear box oil plug - butterfly shape? I was able to do it in the past with two spanners (anticlockwise) but not this time. Is there a simple tool I can buy?

It is supposed to be gently tightened with two fingers , no need to ram it up tight . Try a pair of pliers to ease it undone ...
