Reverse sensors
I have an S40 SE LUX
i have bought some after market reverse sensors for it, i seen a S40 at a set of lights i noted the positions. but when i look at the back of my car it looks as if the where the sensors go is in the area of the bumper beam underneath. where should i fit them? this is the sensors i took the option to be painted to the colour of the car http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1814690916...84.m1497.l2649 http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NTM3WDU5MA...T3Q~~60_12.JPG this is the back of my car as i know bumpers differ http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...ps53b7d0da.png Has anybody have photos of where i put them? |
there are markings on the inside of the bumper where the factory sensors fit ...
|
So the only way to do it is to remove the bumper?

Don't forget to prime and paint them , the sun U/V can quickly attack the plastic .. |
Also you will have to move them down a bit from the oem marks as your one are flat and not shaped to the bumper like the oem ones.

I was just going to use this to cover the open cuts.

especially when you look at the red cars fitment. |
Anybody know Why would this make any difference??????

On my bumped where the marks are the bumpers is shaped not flat so hard to move them a bit to a flat part of the bumper. If your is flat like the red car then it should be fine just need to make sure it is flat
