XC90 height to boot floor with air suspension

I am thinking of buying a XC90 either new or a year old with air suspension.

Can any one tell me the height from the ground to the boot floor please?

On my Discovery you can make the rear suspension lower down to the bump stops for access, is there any thing like that on the XC90?

Finally is that same dimension the same on the non air car?

Thanks in advance, the dog is very interested in the replies!

Not sure about the XC90 but I can lower the height of my XC60 with a button in the boot.
I'm presuming the XC90 would be the same. Can't help with the height measurements though.

yes you can lower the car from button in boot with air suspension fitted, not with car at present so can not measure but would be good for dog access :)

I am hoping it is a lot less than the 80 cms for the Discovery, the dog is getting older and it is quite a leap for her.

Also she is a large dog and a bit heavy to lift in and out.

Hi

Just measured with air suspension and the suspension button in the boot 'down' pressed........

70cm

Thanks for doing that, 10 cms is a fair bit lower and helps justify the change!

I had a dog ramp that extended and retracted like a ladder, it made life a lot easier for my dog and I, he weighed 53kg and would not jump in and out of my XC90 and my back could not cope with his weight. It fitted in the cargo area with him.

I don’t suppose you remember the name of it?

Yep if the dog is already old it's better to fit a ramp. It's easier for them even with the suspension lowered.
Anything for the dog :D
I have one as well and I can't imagine doing anything without him

Yes they called him Scooby.

Only kidding, the ramp make was "Solvit" and it was a very good make, telescopic with non slip surface. I can't remember where I bought mine now but link below to one.
