Ive got a big old 160 000 mile service coming up on my TDI 850, have been looking about for a local garage (SW London), i found these guys in the yellow pages.Any one used them before? Or any other recommendations?
Saw the earlier posts about Kent but was hoping to find somewhere closer..

Can you give us a bit more info on who they are?

Yep, sorry realise the info was a bit sparse, they have an ad in the yellow pages as a specialist volvo garage "Involve" , they are in West Norwood, unit 4, Auckland hill, london Se27. The Ad says est 25 years ago.Tel is 0208 766 8296. Thats all i know i'm afraid.

Just one more garage i wondered if any one had heard of/ any thing about ,AGH motors, in Haldon Road ,Wandsworth,London, 0208 870 8351.

Did you ever use involve?

I used to use them, nice blokes and ok prices, they also have a bunch of scrap motors out the back which they can take parts off to keep the prices down (they tell you first!).

I used them over three years and the only niggle I ever had was when my CEM was replaced to fix the fog lights and the rear wiper didn't work afterwards - I later worked out they must have used an S40 one that wasn't reprogrammed. I had mentioned it to them and they were good about bringing it back but the car got shunted a week later so I never got round to it.

Great to hear there is a lot of volvo intelligence available to new comers like me. I am thinking of getting a C70 and wondered whether anyone could recommend a decent volvo garage/mechanic in or around Iver/Slough before I buy please?

Any other recent experiences with Involve? Luckily, they are just a couple of blocks away from me, so I am thinking to pay them a visit this weekend or the next one.

Any idea about the prices I should expect for my electrical problems and especially for the speedo?
