XC 60 Registration number
 
I have been searching the usual web sites for an XC 60 number plate without success ,any ideas .I have a V 70 R - - plate to swap . Car due in March 2011

I dont think you can get an XC prefix as they are reserved for exported cars. IIRC

I looked as well, and they are not available on general sale. Settled for HU60 in the end, which served my purpose!!!

I did the same research before buying mine. I nearly went for XG60 FLY @ £399 (a strategically placed coloured fixing would have been used) but settled for a more personal one in the end.

I had a wee look while waiting and there is an abundance of XG60 plates and like you say with some clever drilling and fixing would look the part)

There is a XC60 near my work which I'm sure is D5 XC...something which looks good but only to other volvo drivers or those in the know :)

Well if they were to fine everybody I have seen doing it we might have saved the VAT rise.

As luck would have it, my number plate just so happens to start LC60 which is certainly close enough for me given that this was the plate I was allocated by the DVLA. The last 3 digits are rather good as well, but probably best not to post my entire plate on the site.:natur008:

Being in Yorkshire we ended up with YC60....
