Dvd adaptor in rear seats

Quick question, I've done a search and can't see anything in manual either, rear extra seats have the "red/white/blue" aux connector, I'm assuming one can connect a external screen to this for rear seat passengers to see a screen the same as the front 2 fixed ones?

The Euro-standard single DVD player in the center armrest has a RCA yellow/red/white AUX IN for inputting video and sound to the 2nd rows screens

Do you mean that connector?

If not, state what market you are in and advise what RSE system you have

I have the Euro-standard RSE 4.3 system in my 2009 XC90 here in Switzerland

DVD changed in the boot, twin screens operated via remote control and wireless headphone, then the very back seats (fold out ones) it has a small square black plug with female, red/white/yellow RCA sockets)

I’m pretty sure that they are inputs for the screens and were meant to be used for games systems.

Hope you don't mind me jumping on this. I have an 04 headrest monitors single DVD player in armrest with the red yellow and can't remember the other colour. I'm trying to put a media input but I only get black and white on one monitor. But when I play the DVD i get colour on both. Any ideas?

That means likely the video source is PAL and monitor is set to NTSC, or vice-versa

In Europe we use PAL, so check your video source and set to PAL
And then check the DVD Player AUX-IN, I cannot remember but maybe it can be changed from PAL to NTSC, so check it is the same.

Video is on the Yellow RCA socket.
