ECC bulb change
 

Ok my bulbs in my ECC had blown so need to change them this is how it went.


First take the Head unit out by pushing each tab either side of the head unit

Grab each tab and pull the head unit out (there is no need to disconnect the head unit from the electrics )

Put your hand in where the head unit was and up and behind the ECC and pull towards you

Now that you have the head unit out you need to undo four screws two each side

With the four screws removed you can now lift the lid

As you can see there are two bulb holder visable but there is one a bit deeper if you are lucky and only the top two has blown and you can just change these by turning the holder anticlockwise

If you need to change the bottom bulb (like i did) then you need to undo four more screws two each side

Becareful NOT to pull this about cos of the ribbon cables (mite need two pairs of hands to hold the unit still while you change the bulb)

Once your done put it all back together in reverse order
