V70 II facelift replacement Valeo Headlamps
 

Can anyone help with some info., please?

My Volvo V70 2005 MY Halogen Headlamps are badly crazed and no longer respond to polishing. I need to replace them.

Can anyone please help with the correct Volvo and/or Valeo part numbers and suggest where these units might be sourced? Needless to say, Volvo branded spares prices are astronomic!

My headlamps were in a poor state so I sanded them down to 400 grit and then got a local body shop to clear coat. Cost me a slab of beer.
Still going strong 4 years later.

Thank you for your input. I have exhausted the polishing options and the polycarbonate lens is now 'crazed' internally so I need to find replacement units at the best price possible.

I thought that I had found what I was looking for on 'buycarparts.co.uk' but they turned out to be a German company, based in Berlin, and only stock parts for Left Hand Steering cars!

Still searching if anyone has any ideas.

I’ve got a pair of Depo branded ones in the shed, and a pair in the car. I paid 211 I think. I’d be happy to sell you have the spare set - unused - or you can buy them from Ultimate Styling(!) on eBay.

If your existing lamps are BiXenon let me know and I’ll let you know how to avoid the usual error messages you get when you replace with halogens.

Hi Mike, if they are the plastic facelift ones and this chap doesn't want them I'd be interested dependant on price, I'm local as well if you're in harrogate :regular_smile:
