B4204T (2.0T) cylinder head

Hi gang!

I have the above to dispose of. History unknown, but all looks straight and clean. I presume it's the same as a T4 (and 2.0 NA) head.

£75?

cheers

Hi James, do you have pics?

foggyjames Mar 8th, 2015 21:08

I'm afraid I haven't - and (having just been) I probably won't be going back to the unit for a week or two. Was there anything in particular you wanted to see?

cheers

I just wanted to make sure it would fit my 1999 phase 1 2.0 non turbo, engine code B4204S

foggyjames Mar 10th, 2015 00:34

As far as I'm aware, this is identical to the non-turbo head. I can certainly get some pictures, but I don't have any immediate plans to head back to my unit. How urgently do you need it, if it's suitable? I can try to schedule in a visit if you're in a rush.

cheers

No rush, but if you are sure that it will fit I'll have it

Maybe some one else on here can confirm compatibility???

foggyjames Mar 13th, 2015 16:34

I spoke to a man who knows these things yesterday, and he said they're compatible, provided it's a pre-VVT car. I believe it will be. Are you familiar with how to check that? The only notable differences are that the turbo head allegedly has heat-coated exhaust valves, and the cams are different. It'll run with the turbo cams, but you'll be down on power, so I'd swap them. That's easily done - just make sure attention is paid to getting the timing right (as you need to anyway when replacing the cambelt).

Hi James, thanks for checking, I bought one on fleabay that hopefully will fit, its from a 1.8 pre vvt. If not I'll get back to you to see if you still have yours.

foggyjames Mar 16th, 2015 00:30

No problem. It ought to fit, I think.

A little bump. I still have this awaiting a good home. I'll make an eBay listing for it eventually...!

cheers
