Swift Charisma for sale soon - fixed bed replacement bought.
 

We recently bought a replacement for our 2 birth 2001 Swift Charisma 230 end washroom touring caravan so it will be for sale soon.

I need to arrange to have the motor mover transferred to the 'new to us' caravan before selling.

The Charisma has an MTPLM of 1215KG and a MIRO of ~ 980KG (IIRC) so has a user payload of about 235KG.

The caravan has 100W of roof mounted solar panels to keep the leisure battery charged if not on EHU.

The caravan will be equipped with leisure battery, gas bottle, porch awning, full awning, fresh water hog and waste water hog.
Almost fully equipped apart from pots & pans etc.

The caravan is rally ready and has LED lighting throughout to economize on leisure battery drain when not on EHU.

The Swift had 2 new tyres fitted last year.

It had a full gas and chassis service last year.

Our replacement is a dealer special 2007 Fleetwood Heritage Vanlander 560/4 with fixed single beds and wet central heating.
Fixed singles is the reason for selling the Swift.

I will compose a more detailed advert for the Swift soon.

I will be keen to return my driveway to storing only 1 caravan.

Recently, one the same as ours and advertised at £3,500 on Caravanfinder was marked as 'sale agreed' - ours will be more than £1,000 less than that.

After having time away in our 'new' caravan I can now make the sale of the Swift Charisma live.

We have owned this caravan since March 2015 and it has travelled extensively in the UK and France.
The solar battery charging and LED lighting allows long term usage of rally and THS sites without hookup offering big savings on commercial site fees.
We have rallied/THS'd for several weeks at a time on THS's without need of electric hook up.
The caravan is equipped with a part filled 6KG propane gas bottle, EHU cable, waste-hog, fresh water barrel, and levelling ramp.
Last December we had 9 nights in Edinburgh to visit the Christmas market and the caravan was warm and cosy.
The caravan is 2001 and therefore there are a few small dents to the bodywork and a small area of floor de-lamination which have been accounted for in the price.
There is no motor mover with the caravan.

I have a damp meter which you are welcome to use when you inspect the caravan ( as I did for 45 minutes when we bought it ).

Reason for sale is we have now bought a fixed bed tourer for ease of night time preparations.

Being retired means viewing ( in Leigh, Lancs ) is very flexible.
