Wanted - 240 Estate
 

Thought I should give this a go in case it nudges anyone into a decision to sell their lovely car...
We're looking for a manual estate in decent condition, for my son to learn to work on and to drive. Ideally, it's a 2.3 with injection and a good service history. Up to 3k available.

Hi Chris how far are you willing to travel?

I am in Stockport and debating on putting my 240 estate up for sale. 1 owner full history only 96k. Really nice car just needs some small bits doing but not desperate age related bodywork.

It'd be good to get one before the lockdown really begins so he's got something to be learning on through the upcoming months, schools already closed here in Wales... :confused_smile:

Thanks Bugjam. I'd seen that one but buying from IoM seemed a bit complex and expensive to get there/ back. I enquired about another from there a while back, and since yet another came up on the IoM. Seems odd for such a small place.

Still searching if anyone's thinking about selling!
