Hi there,

i am just wondering if its worth selling or scrapping..
is the engine of any use for other projects or hobbies. as its a bit of a beast and goes well for its age.

its due its mot in a couple of weeks and the exhaust has just fallen apart.
the backbox and mid section is going to cost me £200 ish upwards.
if i could replace these parts cheaper and get it through the MOT i would consider keeping it for another year..

it sailed through its last MOT, number plate bulb on its 17th year... pretty dam impressive ...

I've got a similar one to you. Great cars to own. £200 is nothing to keep it on the road for another year. I know a mechanic up your way if you need an MOT. :regular_smile:

This one is half the price you mentioned, so definately worth it!

i have not yet sold it, i was about to put it on Ebay and Auto trader.

i think if i make 10 posts i can reply to your PM.

i have it on ebay at the moment, with the number of watchers climbing. its due to end auction in a day and half.

if its going to be a cheap :tongwink: MOT then i might consider it.
