MY2018 cars
If it follows previous form, production of MY2018 would start around the end of Apr '17 and deliveries to dealers would follow sometime in May or early June.
The specs for the new model year start to appear end Feb or early March. |
Agreed Lexman8, we tried to order our car in mid/late Feb last year but the Factory would not accept the order as they were changing over to the MY17 models. Had to wait about a week.
Getting hold of any spec changes is a different matter - the dealers usually have a idea fairly early in March but getting anything from form Volvo is like getting blood from a stone. Even when we collected our car in July Volvo UK Customer Service were still sending out MY16 brochures/pride lists though they were available to download. |
Does anyone feel/think there may be something similar to the MY16 to MY17 change e.g. powerpulse?

Plus an electronically controlled welded diff for drifting. Settings will be saved per ignition key. |
Loving the idea, have you thought of a career at Volvo? :lightbulb:

Do you think there will be much of a change for the V90 (considering I placed my order today!).
Ultimately, I wanted it before April 1st, so I wouldn't have gone for a MY18 anyway. |

Reasoning for my answer: Every production year manufacturers update their vehicles (What exactly they will update they do not release in advance) |

The MY2018 pricelists of the V90(CC) and S90 are already on Volvo's website of Belgium and The Netherlands.
However, the XC90 pricelist is still for MY2017. |
Following as it looks like my car's going to be in one of the early MY18 production weeks now.
