850 R Brakes

I will shortly want to change pads and disks on my ‘97 850 R. Whilst doing this it would seem appropriate to upgrade to braided hoses. What combination of rotors and pads would you recommend, please? There seem to be many options, from OEM through to high end aftermarket. I have come across Goodridge braided hoses, any good? One of the first jobs I did on the car was replace the brake fluid, so that is done. I noted the rotors are held in place by the wheel nuts, rather than any form of securing bolts. That can’t be good, I assume securing bolts should be added. Thanks.

I've got HEL braided lines on my C70 and Goodridge on my S40, no problems on either yet!

On my 850R:

Goodridge braided hoses
Mtec drilled & grooved discs
Brembo pads

Seems great to me, but everyone seems to have different opinions. I've never had any issues, but I'm not driving dangerously.

Thanks, that’s useful.

I have HEL lines on my V70, no complaints and they weren't expensive. Nothing fancy pad and disc wise, just did the 302mm mod
