Disconnecting Turbo control valve electrical connector

Guys I have a 2.4t petrol v70xc which has the LPT engine

I have turbo control valve code on my obd reader
I also have air flow code too.

I’m not convinced it’s the car seems to run and pull fine at high rpm but have crap mpg (from dim values) on low rpm or in 5mph rolling traffic. (I know not to trust the computer value lol)

Question.... how would the car run if I disconnected the TCV electronics and leave the hoses in place?
Is it wise to do this?
What damage would happen over a short distance of a few miles?

Could it be possible that at low RPM my TCV is faulty but at high RPM / boost pressure be fine? What would be the signs of this?

Could it be opening my turbo actuator when idling causing issues?

My vacuum lines have been replaced 6 months ago and I’m sure there is no leaks anywhere.

I had a '99 plate V70XC in black. Similar issues as yours. Terrible MPG (c.24mpg) and sluggish off the mark. Except I had no VIDA DTC's. The car was immaculate and served us for 7 years but I got tired of the poor economy.
I got rid of it in favour of a '54 XC90. More MPG from the XC!
Not much of a solution I am afraid.
