Death of Jan Wilsgaard

Sad to read of the death on 6th August 2016, of Jan Wilsgaard, designer for Volvo cars from 1950 to 1990. His designs includes the Amazon, 140, 164, 240, the 7 series and the 850. In his early years he was involved in the design of the experimental cars named P179, better known as the 'Margaret Rose',
Volvo Philip (1950), and the PV 179 (1952). Later he designed the changes that brought about the 1800ES from the 1800 coupe body.

I expect there will be a Volvo press release which covers this,

FYI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Wilsgaard

It's a real loss to the Automotive design history

He's the one man who did all the good ones
