How much brake fluid do I need to buy for a complete change of brake and clutch fluid?

I used 1 litre with some left over, but mines auto with no clutch.
As you seem to be in the states i think 1 quart should be enough.

I tend to get 2x 1 litre bottles just in case, I think the first time I bled the brakes I overdid it though and just bled through good brake fluid because I was imagining seeing bubbles left...
