The Amazon should have different size rear cylinders when a servo is added to to a non-servo car, something that's not often done. The servo in your diagram is increasing the pressure to the 5 way block in your diagram. That's 4 for the wheels and one for the brake switch. This is the same in the Amazon. The pipe goes from the MC goes across the back of the bulkhead and then forwards along the inner wing to the servo. The out line from the servo then doubles back to the distribution block. All this extra pipe can trap air as mentioned.
Rear cylinder size referenced here, right at the end. (Thanks Rob)

That's great - thanks

From what I can figure out the correct 22mm (7/8") servo rear cylinders are part number 670404 (I'll be ordering a new set in the near future)

Piling up all the spare parts and junk and rubbish I should have sorted years ago into a handy pallet cart to help me get this junk in and out of removal trucks...

Help with part number

I was wondering if any one has got a part number for the bits of metal that are slid into the body into which the screws that hold the wings on the vehicle get screwed?

I've looked in the spares book and they don't seem to exist (!)

(I'll do a picture tomorrow)

Brilliant! Well done - thanks a lot - from that part number I was able to find whole kits for the front and rear wings =>

276466 - front wings
276467 - rear wings

Where did you find it? VP?

adarvasi May 15th, 2019 13:42

Arcturus, the part number in the parts book, then the picture at VP’s

Still very much involved with...

...moving house and packing - but - I did happen to see two steering boxes for sale

I paid a hundred euros for the two and hope that should they be needed may be a bit of one of them will be OK

https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/attac...1&d=1558100891

The seller was kind enough to box them up and send them to me - though having left the oil in the boxes has made the packing rather interesting (!)

This purchase is a massive gamble - could be a waste of money time and effort - I'll take them to bits when I get settled to see what kind of condition they are in: This could be a lesson of "be happy with what you've got".

The worm gear on the original piece has been "repaired" with epoxy which may or may not be a good fix (see previous pages if you have the will to do so) - if I've struck the jackpot there might be a nice worm gear in one of the two replacements <= Well that's the hope / gamble.

Having reached a stage where several bits...

...have been temporarily fitted to the carcass of my PV for future transportation to me new house I thought I'd share a few pictures showing the controversial bare metal finish.

(Note ty-wraps and tape hold most pieces in place so the gaps aren't even close to being where I want them to be - this is a loose fitting of bits to get them safely to the next workshop)

he finish definitely falls in the "delightfully dreadful" category that I was trying to achieve. I am happy with it but it does need a bit of colour as well...

...I thought it would...

...I knew it would (!) it is essentially a silver car which can turn out to be rather boring.

I might go for some go faster stripes - erm - sorry - I mean "pin stripes" on this forum!
