Running more than about 11psi triggers the fuel cut, as the air meter flap is opening wider than its predetermined mapped settings in relation to engine speed and load. Most all 740 Turbos came with the A-cam, and all 940 Turbos came with the T-cam. Will pass, Just had a look at fitting and is a kerfuffle and my car running just fine, £25 is a good buy, as others have been sold for £50+

I really didn't want to send the turbo overseas, and bearing in mind it would probably cost £30-40 in postage just to get it there! Again with the MBC it would probably be cheaper for you to source one over there? To answer your question though, this T3 is water and oil cooled. Sorry about all that.:( |

I can arrange for pick-up. the adjustable camgear I would like second dibs if the sales falls through. I recheck the turbo I have malfunctioning on a B230ET (Believe was coming of such a engine also right?) I'm quite sure the 86 model only had oil lines but will double check. Will revert soonest. RE: If you could give me dimensions of the shimms thickness in the 531 head it would give me an idea of it's condition and pricing. Again: don;'t worry about shipping. Can arrange for pick up. BR |
