Engine resonance
 

Hi
At certain speeds there seems to be a resonance which I can feel through floor,
and hear, it is more prominent at certain speeds namely 40 mph and 60 mph.
My mileage is just over 50K.
It is unpleasant and spoils the drive.
Is the D5 engine prone to vibrations and can anything be done?

Any engine can be prone to resonance if the engine mounts aren't functioning correctly so check those first.
