Safe distance for lpg from exhaust pipe ??

Anyone know ?
I bet Dai does, anyone else want to contribute please.
Im wondering how far away from exhaust the lpg tank must be, routing the pipes safely is less of a challenge.

Sorry, definitely one for Dai. The other place to ask is the UK LPG forum. Me? I like the contrast, I'm often looking over the Indian gas sites and such things simply don't get asked, It would seem the Maruti exhaust is unique, it will never get hot. Therefore, if you like, you can run you pipes down the exhaust. Even use the exhaust as trunking. Suzuki made them like that, hence these questions are not required;)

So be corrected? You? me? We worry too much.

I must lack imagination, hadnt looked for an lpg forum. These days one need know nothing as we can get it from a video on youtube. provided we trust whoever made the vid in the first place......

You certainly do lack imagination, the preferred method is always best. The exhaust makes a good mount for tubing, simply cable-tie the pipework to it. They do.

No need to waste your money on anything else, Orange BBQ hose is best;)

Take more tips from this bloke. In my humble, one of the funnier threads I've ever read on the web, it's a slow-burn but it just builds:

Clearance from the exhaust has to be at least 100mm without sheilding or can be closer if a heat shield is used.

The LPG pipes also need to be at least 100mm away from the exhaust. A good way to protect LPG pipes from exhaust heat is https://www.classicswede.co.uk/Fuel_..._10900907.aspx

Yeh.. good stuff that is... Dark grey it slides over the lot - hides the orange.
