Wax for metallic paint
 

Hi, can anyone recommend a good wax to use on metallic paint

Colinite products are raved about on countless detailing forums. Depending on your car’s colour and the amount of elbow grease you put in, you need to see which product. Bear in mind that wax is at its best after a car is washed, coated, and polished.

Coated should have read Clayed. In other words apply a clay block to the bodywork before polishing and then finally applying the wax

Have a look at the Autofinesse website. I use a few of their products which I highly recommend. A good choice of wax, but also ceramic finishes.

Try one of their tutorial car detailing mornings. Best money I've spent in a while. They run through washing, decontaminating, polishing and finally coating.
