V40 d4 cup holder replacement
 

Hello, I left one of those cheap air fresheners in the centre console cup holder for a week or two. When I came to throw it away it had melted itself to the plastic. I have purchased a replacement cup holder but before I start butchering my car can anyone tell me how to get the old cup holder out. Do I just pry it out with some hard plastic or do I need to dismantle part of the centre console or dash?
If it helps any it’s a 2015 D4 and to clarify the cup holder I am referring to is the double one housed under the retractable plastic roof in the centre console next to the handbrake.
