Sorry but another VIDA query

The rear spring on my 2015 V70 D5 has snapped. Vida gives over a dozen variants of spring with a clause " for marking, see vehicle details" by each option. Assuming this is so that the correct part can be selected.
The marking, I again assume refers to the 3 dabs of paint on the springs ( I might be wrong but seams logical) yet despite much searching I can find no information about spring marking either under "vehicle profile tab" or via "diagnostics tab" /details/vehicle configuration ( although this does have lots of info)
Can someone please point me in the right direction of where to find this "marking" in vida so that I correctly find the right part?
BTW my spring left-right is white/ green/ purple.

Cheers
Bob

Sort of got my own answer:-

Many have looked in general for colour code Info, both on here and in general on the web. From what I read no one has found what they seek.
Several years ago a lad on here began to gather info, but it was for V40, which appear to be more likely than V70 to break coils springs.
Several members have had issues being supplied the wrong spring.
Swapping a coil out is a fairly simple task, no coil spring compressor needed; just droplink bolt and bottom arm bolt and spring pops out 20-30 mins.
Just need the right part. - Its a bigger PIA than fitting it.
Just trusting Vida can supply the answers, and hopeing someone knows where they are :)

Cheers
Bob

The spring codes are on the chassis plate , the "Chassis type Number " Not VIN
The dealer will have it on the car factory build sheet anyway . .. The colour codes mean nothing these days ..

Not that straight forward

Got a spring from dealer. They should know what they are doing , but probably paid more than a pattern part. Tried using spring compressors as per vida but they kept catching on various parts of the top/bottom seat mounting bits. Eventually removed bottom arm bolt to drop the arm and all was good. Installation was good too until I tried to insert the bolt back into the captive nut. I was on 2 hours!!! trying to align things. Eventually it suddenly just slid in and tightened up.
I had no issue with spring moving in seat when lifting arm back to the fixing point.
Cheers Bob.

Is the chassis plate the one inside the driver's door?

So is this what "marked" means when you search in Vida for a specific part & a long list comes up, i.e. a part listing may come up with the wording for "chassis/vehicle marked 123" for example (not word for word, but hopefully you get my drift).

I think the plate on the inside of the drivers door ( by the striker plate) is tyre information. There is another plate on the rear drivers side door ( on the other side of the pillar with the tyre info) least ways there is on a 2015MY V70.
I have yet to fully deceipher the details, but one line is the VIN, then 4 lines detailing weights I assume 1st is max vehicle weight; Max vehicle +trailer weight; then max front and rear axel weights.
There is also a line of figures separated by "*" characters - no idea what they are. Then 4 lines at 90degrees to other writing, and again I've no idea what they signify.

Any help welcome.

Cheers
Bob

Yes that IS what they mean by "marked" ..It is the metal plate under the bonnet it has various sets of numbers including colour code ,. Later cars have it on a white plastic sticker around the door edge area . Very late cars may not have it at all !
The dealer will always be able to look it up from the cars factory build list anyway so not a problem .

Would settle for 100 words just now :)

Nothing of any help in VIDA or on-line-manual to shine a light on my quest, and the internet is doing my head in - just going round and round. Can't believe I can't find out - so I'm not as tech savy as I thought...:)

Cheers Bob

Same problem with my C30, I'm looking for the front spring p/n but there are about 20 possibilities. I've attached a picture of the sticker on the driver's door pillar, am I correct in thinking that mine is 'Marked' 15?
