Another map update
 

Had my V90 in for the EGR safety recall today, all completed in under 3 hours and a nice new V60 D4 Cross Country loaned for the afternoon.

On the way to the dealer and back home my V90 received and installed an OTA map update for N.W. Europe number 1293.

Thanks Paul, I only checked earlier today and as the website page still said v1290 (as it still does) didn't look further. Anyway, downloading now!

Exactly... i saw the same... but i already downloaded via OTA

I fired up the existing "Sensus Update SPA Europe.app" on my Mac yesterday and it found and downloaded the v1293 update despite the website still showing only v1290.

It still doesn't have the new stretch of A14 between M11 and A1.

Flippin 'eck - I've only just updated the UK (N.W Europe) to 1290 - and then had to do France as well - good job I have 16gb a month Data.
Bit of a pain to be honest as I found out that if travelling across maps - they both need to be on the same version to work properly??!!

Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and install the full EU map at 50GB through USB.

Excuse my ignorance.... what is SPA?
I've seen this mentioned a couple of times elsewhere in the forum.

In this context, Volvo's Scalable Platform Architecture. It's basically the underpinnings of all current models except the XC40.

I checked the Volvo website this morning and it was still reporting 1290 but I ignored that and on download it said that 1293 was downloading. Success I thought.

Inserted the USB when I went out and it told me that map was already installed (1290) which I installed last month. Then I was shown on Sensus that NW Europe was available for download. I downloaded it and presume that it has downloaded 1293. I left it to initialize when I got home and will find out tomorrow when I fire it up what it has downloaded.

Also presume that it has downloaded 1293 and that it is best to hang fire on the USB download for a couple of days or so until 1293 shows as being available.
