alarm siren
 

Hi guys
im after an alarm siren/module for my xc70 2005. existing one is very goosed with the board in a bad state. obviously with this restriction on movement, I cant exactly go and rip one from a scrapyard...

iv bought 5 from scrap yards never found a good one yet. i wont pay over 100quid to volvo for a new one .so i just press the stalk to remove the message

guess ill be doing the same... not the easiest to get at either in a scrap yard...

the alarm siren is the same on v70 s60 and xc90 of similar years

dont bother buying used.

1. stump up the 200 quid

2. leave it

Complete kit, genuine Volvo - replaced mine from this supplier

Scandix are very good for stocking everything but they have rip off postage to UK so I rarely use them. I mean less that a tenner would be fine but sometimes it's like 25 euro

How bad is the board? How good are your soldering skills?
I managed to save mine with a couple of hour's labour and a bit of googling.

Anybody got a working PCB for my 2003 V70 alarm siren (part no 9452709 )
I will buy a 7.2 volt replacement battery.
