Wanted - Facelift S60 T5 (2005 MY on)

Wanted:

A 2005 model year onwards facelift S60 T5 (2.4 litre 260bhp version)

The car must be manual and at least Sport spec, SE or SE Sport would be even better.

I'm looking for a car in very tidy condition with no major bodywork, interior or paint issues.

Colour: just so long as it's not bronze/gold/beige, pea green or sky blue I'm flexible.

Must have FSH.

PM me if you have one you are looking to sell.

Thanks,
John

interested?

Hi there,

I'm new to this site, but I'm just finishing building my S60t5, its been a project for me and now I have completed it (will be in the next couple of weeks) I don't really have a use for it (got married and was virtually given a V70 t5 which I love to bits but can't afford running both)

I honestly can tell you theres not another like it that (I know of anyway) it was an expolice car (don't panic) I bought new seats and doorcards for it that were from an s60r new headlights, MAF sensor infact so much of it see below:

Ex-Police S60T5 3" BSR downpipe with racing cat, Jetex catback exhaust, Stage3 BSR PPC 319bhp, Mesh cone filter, modified mitsubishi 19T turbine (this further ups the bhp passed 319 but never tested it) with 7" Samco silicone reducer pipe, Poly bush engine mounts, Powered seats, UK POLICE SPEC: 12" vented front disc brakes, High-speed pursuit spec brake pads / wear indicators / antroll bars, D5 front suspension arms-police spec front damers, larger specification battery, 110A alternator, D5 clutch, Police calibrated speedo well it was before I put some chrome 18" wheels just to upset BMW drivers, oh and I just had the speedo uprated whith white led for an amazing appearance.

As you can expect after all that there’s virtually nothing that can even keep up with it, my wife hates the thing I love it to death (probably would be the death of me) it gets to 60 in something like 4.8 secs possibly faster depending on the fuel I try to keep it on 99 octaine.

Well that’s about it I'll get some pics to you if your interested, its done 160,000 but frankly you wouldn’t care after hearing the burble of the engine and the feeling of travelling through time on acceleration.

Oh yes its white.

Let me know if your interested? Worst bit is I don't think jo average would even appreciate what’s been done to it unless they actually got in the thing to drive it - car wont be ready for a couple of weeks - looking for 5 grand - not much when considering the 1000's spent.

Cheers for reading anyrate, Greg

Thanks, but no thanks ;)

I'm not after a D5 nor a heavily modified car (although that's an awesome spec you have there Greg).

I should have updated this sooner actually because I'm not looking for a Volvo at all any more, so this is now a redundant thread.

Cheers,
John

Thanks for the offer but as I said I'm not looking any more.

As to why a facelift I much prefer the way they look (the changes are subtle, but they really add up) and the engine has been upgraded over the older models and is very very very tunable :)

I have to say I think you're being very optimistic with the pricing on your car I'm afraid, good luck with selling it but I'd have a look at some price guides and what cars are being advertised for in auto trader.

Cheers,
John
