Volvo mate, they are good pads for every day use anyway, tell the garage to quote reg number and possibly chasis number

I had the same problem, ordered one set from Volvo quoting the chassis no.
They did not fit so volvo sent a second set out which again did not fit.

In the end they sent another 2 sets out, one of which fit.
Paid for one set and volvo arraged collection of the unused ones.

I think they came from Rufe

depends what you expect to pay for pads really, as thats the part that stops the car i personally dont go for crap pads or discs. Altho mine is a P1 V70 last volvo set were about £38 for the front. This time i went for mintex race pads which were over £100 for the fronts.

Indeed,
BUT...
last week I did the rear bearings, (an hour each side) on the road outside the house...
soaked to the skin then and now the weather's worse... sod it!!
£30 for the cv boot fitted, I buy the pads, they fit 'em while she's in there and £35 for the MOT...
not worth getting my hands dirty!!

cant argue with that lol, its all well and good if you have a garage/drive, im in the same boat as you have to work on the road if i do anything, infact im waiting for the rain to stop now as i need to fit my ETM

too true Deathrider, plus the fact that with 'odd' spec parts like this, you've the car in bits only to find you need to reassemble it to exchange the darn items.
I'll ring Rufe on Monday, see what he can do.
