2014 V40 D2 Ticking Noise
 

Hi all,
First time poster so apologies if this has been covered to the death. Purchased the car March 2018, and do love it. Car is a 2014 V40 D2 with 50k on the clock.

when driving on smoother roads (what’s left of them) If i let my foot off the accelerator, I get a ticking noise as the car decelerates. Unsure where it is coming from or where to start, car isn’t due a service for another 6k.

Any advice is welcome.
