Painted calipers
 

Has anybody here got coloured calipers on an XC90, ideally one with larger wheels? Any pics? Or recommendations/do's/dont's etc?

I'll take that as a "no" then :)

Post a high quality picture of your current setup and ask for some colour examples. :thumbs_up:

I would be interested in getting this done too, cost permitting. I was thinking Polestar blue to match the polestar badge but havent photoshopped anything yet.

Does painting the calipers invalidate the warranty, by the way?

I would imagine that any brake caliper warranty claim could potentially be refused yes. It would up you to prove that your actions had not resulted in the premature failure.

It is also an aftermarket non-manufacturer cosmetic alteration and as such would need to be notified to your insurance company.

I notice the latest Driver magazine has a story on painted calipers during Lockdown.

No mention of warranty or insurance from what I can recall.

There was a thread on this very subject on this forum a few month ago, it may show up in a search if you look for it.
