ABS Module 9162675 needed urgent before car goes to scrap
 

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help I have a V70 2.5 TDI that has failed its MOT on a few things, however I need an ABS Module I suspect as I've had the old one apart and its had a repair previous and some terminals look missing.

I've tried forums and breakers but had no luck.

The part number is 9162675. Hoping to save it before it goes to scrap as its been a great car.

Also try contacting Shem Green at Shemtek Automotive, he normally stocks a few. Not sure why you're struggling though, Googling your part number brings up plenty of options on eBay.

There isn't any on Ebay UK that I can see for that part, they're all in the US or Latvia. I'll give Shem a shout didn't think of him actually. Thanks

Just realised that I have one.

9162675

I took it off a car that being stripped. I think the previous owner spent a lot of money on the engine and then that failed. No real idea about whether the ABS worked or not, but he probably wouldn't have got the engine done if the ABS wasn't working.

The unit has been opened, presumably to do the resoldering fix. Fomr the outside, it looks fairly well done.

Thanks, I have got one sorted from Steve above I think.

I’ll find out Monday when the cv joint is done for the abs ring, but Steve has a few.
