Group remap?

Anyone interested in a group remap? When I had my merc we organised 30+ cars so we only paid a modest fee for the software and then a days labour for the team who did the install. This was £130! Probably wont get it down to this level but will certainly try.... Now im back in a D5 I want it remapped!

If we can get 10+ Ill get onto organising things... Post your names below if you are and then I will try and sort out some willing company/ locations and pricing...

I'd be up for this. I too have have it done this way with VW's and it was a great success for the mapper and the punters alike. Depends who with though - MTE?

where are you looking at acquiring these maps from..??, ive been reluctant to remap due to prices... this may be just what is needed.

i would possibly be interested but and this is a big but, it would have to be from someone reputable with experience of tuning Volvos, they would also have too be able to offer fully custom maps and not just off the shelf ones.

There are more bad tuners out there than good ones sorry to say.

chances of finding a good mapper that will do rolling road custom maps for a volvo is not going to be easy !!

Its too much of a "closed door" mafia type set up . No one wants to let the cat out of the bag as to how much they will do a "offer for" as once you do one that price sticks in everyones mind for ever ! people call up months later demanding that price etc

I still think custom maps in the volvo world are still too expensive

£200 yes...anymore? then no

Don't let everybody do it , then nobody will realise they've been remapped.

Do you need a rolling road custom map if your looking for modest increases within the limits of the cars capability? I fully understand the point if you are trying to gleam the max out of an engine!

We at merc had standard maps put on and not one of us reported any problems caused by it...

MTE and RICA mappers would be my first choice as they are so highly recommended but if not I will see what the guys we used at merc have to say about the cars we have listed, my c220cdi has been super reliable and flys since the remap i had.
