V70R auto AWD BLUE
 

not mine, V70R auto, AWD, looks pretty nice.

It's listed under car parts so probably not getting much attention, might be a nice find

A chap i know owns it, its a phase2 i think, he keeps getting lots of people emailing about it.

But its a bit of a strange one as its listed as a 2.4, although its got the 4 sp auto and t8 engine rather than t2?

i've not seen it in person, but if it doesnt sell i think he is going to re tax and use it.

its a 2.3 4speed auto with 240bhp not 265 as he states, only the phase 3 2.4 5 speed auto on a w reg has 265bhp

Phase 3 was also V reg too. There weren't many registered in 2000 on a W.

What he has there is a Phase 2 - ME7, 2.3, 18T(I think), 250PS/350Nm.

Exterior looks alright - no obvious marks on the corners, headlights look fine.

Checks I;d be doing if I were interested: Mileage. It may say 164k but I'd be checking the MOT's. My P3 R AWD has 171k and doesn't have a fraction of the wear that drivers seat has. I'd also be checking the history for tyre replacements - all 4 at once, same brand, as well as checking the wear on whats on there already.

I'm not sure why there's so much confusion between the phase 2 and 3 with the people that own it! As you lot have said it's quite obviously a phase 2. Seems very fairly priced compared to what other Lasers seem to be advertised for, but then there is the trouble of replacing the rack of course plus a list of things I imagine as that is a rather poor ad!

But then I may be wrong..
