5 x Columbas for sale
 

For sale: 5 Volvo “Columba” 16-inch wheels with tyres. These are from my 1996 850 T5 Automatic Estate, sadly demised at 180k miles with too-expensive-to-fix engine wear. I kept the wheels and tyres from the breaker because they were in such good shape.

Tyres, and my amateur depth measurements, are:

2 x Pirelli P6000, 205/50, ZR 16, 87W, depths 3mm and 3mm

(then, the replacement model: )
2 x Pirelli Cinturato P7, 205/50, R16, 87W, depths 4mm and 7mm

and the spare (no centre cap):
Michelin Pilot Primacy, 205/50 R16, 87W, depth 6mm

Condition is good – see piccies. There are some scuffs on the edge of the rims. The T5 was my favourite car, and the wheels look fast even when parked. I now have a V70 D5 Estate with 17-inch wheels, and the Columbas don’t look right on it.

Single Columba wheels on E-bay now at £50 and £70.

Price is £200. Buyer to collect from Ely, Cambridgeshire.

This is my first time selling on the Forum. May I clarify that the wheels on E-bay are not mine, I just put the information in to give a comparison on my asking price. Sorry if that was not clear - I am not selling single wheels, just a set of 5.

Thanks for your PM, but my PM reply was blocked because I haven't made 30 posts. The info you want is: if you look at my original post in Jan 2018, there is a PDF attached. I have checked and it is still accessible. After taking the photos, I put the wheels back into my garage in covered storage - so they will look much the same now. I hope you can open the PDF, if not tell me.

Sorry.....

I'll start with apologies for not replying to enquiries from Mark (Oct 19). Malc-C (Dec 19) and Jason (Dec 19), but after the initial lack of interest I put the wheels into store and the thought went out of my mind. I haven't visited the website for ages.

The wheels are available, exactly as shown in the photos at the beginning of this thread, and I would love to reclaim the space in my garage. The reduced price is £100, wheels to be collected from my home near Ely in Cambridgeshire.

I will check the website more frequently from now on.

I've since replaced my wheels for aftermarket ones so sorry, no longer interested....

The Columba wheels have now been sold on EBay.
