So I have just brought this
V90 T5 R Design Pro with Polestar.
https://volvocars-gerrardscross.sele...packs-u7b4sehe Just a quick question does anyone on here have a T5 R Design with the 20" wheels and Lowered Sports Chassis, I wondered what it was like to live with in the real world. Obviously a test drive doesn't give the full picture - Im coming from a 2017 D4 Momentum. |

Afternoon,
No it's not advertised with Polestar but as part of the deal I had them add it. |

You obviously won't notice the difference, as you are having it done from the start of your ownership. But believe me there is a difference. Enjoy your new car. |
What is the lowered sport chassis? I thought v90 comes with air option on the back and that’s it. No different for r design - just cosmetics and paddles instead of heated steering wheel. Cc has raised chassis.
Polestar does nothing with the chassis - it replaces dynamic mode with polestar own but it only affects gearbox, steering weight and engine. Dynamic mode only modifies suspension on air suspension cars. |

Including ‘adjusted anti-roll bars and stiffer springs’ Mine’ is super soft and comfy (18” wheels) |
Must admit - I have no idea what a Lowered Sport Chassis is, but it is listed as being a factory spec item.
I actually made enquiries was I was concerned that the 20" wheels and sports chassis might all be a bit to much on UK Roads. But it definitely listed as a factory spec |
Just found this
"Sport chassis. With a Sport chassis that lowers the ride height by 20mm and stiffer springs and dampers, the V90 R-Design is built to give you a sharper driving experience." |
