XC60 2012- petrol engines that support LPG

Hi.

I'm thinking about buying 2012 or newer XC60 petrol in which can be put LPG system. I'm looking only on engine models that can take LPG (not like 2.0L ford engine that dont like LPG, or so i heard).

I dont want engine models that must use petrol while using LPG ( gdi direct injection?).

Can you please point me in right direction?

Tnx

PS: Sorry for my english :)

I've not heard of a petrol engine that can't be run on LPG, but perhaps there are some out there. The use of a valve lubricant such as FlashLube should ensure no issues with excessive valve wear. I've got the 3.2 SI6 engine in my XC70 which runs very happily on gas although I have no info on whether it was used in the XC60 model too.

Well automehanics told me that i sholud avoid petrol engine with direct injection into engine block, because that work for some time and than engine dies. With or without flashlube. They recomend me to find engine that is manafactured by Volvo and that work good on LPG. so, im looking for that type of engine :)

i heard that 3.2 engine is great for LPG :)but ther isnt many of them for sale :(
