2016 V60 manual gear knob
 

Hi All, had my V60 for around 8wks now, and while I do enjoy it, i'm finding little issues that have beeb bodged.
The latest one is the plastic cover on top of the gear knob came away in my hand whilst driving, the little plastic pegs had been snapped off. I tried to glue them back on and clip the plastic cover back on, but soon gave way.
So has anyone got the plastic cover or whole gear knob?

Rang Volvo and they only sell the gear knob complete at a price of £128. No chance!

ho what glue you used as i find sikoflex bonds any thing and if left for 24 hrs you will never get it off its used to bond car soilers ect to cars

The plastic is ABS plastic and I initially used ABS glue to glue the pins back. They're only about 1.5mm dia so no wonder they came away again. The cover is designed to come off, so would like it to not be permenant, I've recently used a hot melt glue gun, so hopefully that holds.
