Nivomats, Which way up?

I have just bought a pair of new, but slightly dirty Nivomatic shocks for one of my 960 CD esates. Problem...... which way up do they go? If I follow the lables fitted to them, the gaiter will be at the top, lable reads 'TOP->outside' the bolt hole is the larger of the two. The smaller of the two bushes is at the fat end. The genuine Nivomats are on the other way up with the gaiter at the bottom. Any advice will be most welcome before I start. Cheers, Alan.

hi
i have nivomats the gater is at the bottem. i used a trolly jack to fine postion so it takes weight of the nivomat . and axel stand as safety to cover any slips. do you know any one might be selling any .although you do not have to replace both at the same time according to technical info .

Nivomats for sale

Thank you for the information you posted. With regards to Nivomats for sale, I have tried to send you a PM about a pair that were/are for sale, but I was not allowed. It states you have chosen not to accept PMs. Regards, Alan. VOC 22929
